Paragliding tandem flight at Bulwer in the Southern Drakensberg

Join us for an exciting paragliding tandem flight in the stunning Southern Drakensberg.   We start our introductory paragliding flights at Bulwer Mountain, although we have other great flying spots too! Depending on the weather, we aim to be in the air for about 10 to 15 minutes. Safety comes first, therefore we only take off when conditions are right for both take-off and landing. Our Tandem Flight Instructors are skilled, and we often land back on top of the mountain to take the next passengers flying! We offer in-flight videos for a fee to capture your memorable moments. Paragliding gives you the free feeling of flying like a bird. We’ll use ridge soaring and thermal conditions to keep you up in the sky! Before your adventure starts, you’ll get a lesson on how everything works.

Paragliding in Cape Town

An instructional paragliding tandem flight in Cape Town  is an unforgettable experience.  We fly tandem mainly at Signal Hill and Lions Head, with spectacular views of Table Mountain and the City of Cape Town. Flight duration is weather dependent.  Due to complex weather systems in Cape Town we cannot guarantee flight duration,.  We only fly in conditions that are safe for take off and landing.  Our Tandem Flight Instructors are all very experienced.   We offer in flight video and photos at a fee.  Please see the Information page for pricing.  Passengers receive an introductory lesson before flight explaining how it all works.  Then once airborne there is in flight information about thermals, ridge lift and information on the days weather conditions.

Paragliding in the Garden Route

It matters not whether you are a local or a guest, a visit to the Garden Route is a must! A glorious 300-kilometre stretch of coastline. Forested mountains, sprawling wetlands and endless, cliff-hugged, white-sand beaches, dotted with picturesque towns spaced no more than a 45-minute drive apart. It runs from the small town of Mossel Bay to the mouth of the Storms River and takes in places of extraordinary natural beauty along the way. From the air, it is utterly breath-taking – and one of the most popular paragliding destinations in the world!

We fly Mossel Bay, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay – the exact location will depend on the day’s wind speed and direction.

Our most popular launch spots are Map of Africa, Sedgefield and Kleinkrans.
On the morning of your booking, we will confirm with you exactly where we will be flying. Because it is weather dependent you would be well-advised to book your flight in advance, with a few days grace built in, to ensure a bigger window of opportunity.
